Mark Shaw

Mark Edward Shaw, Salta, Argentina, formerly of Burlington and the Quad-Cities passed away on Dec. 27, 2023, in Salta.

He was born Aug. 15, 1952, in Burlington, to John and Marlene Johns Shaw Gerst. He graduated from Burlington High School in 1970 and was a veteran of the United States Navy. He married Graciela Shaw of Salta, Argentina, on June 5, 2010, at the Little Brown Church in the Vale. Survivors include his wife, Graciela; his children, Benjamin Shaw, El Dorado California; Jenna Stanley, Sacramento, California, and Nathan and Christopher Shaw, Bettendorf; siblings Mona Shaw, Burlington, Jacklyn Shaw, Ridgefield, California, Jacqueline Wistrom, Sperry, Sandra Wasson, Burlington, Edward Gerst, Burlington, Sharon Malone, Burlington, April Schulthies, West Burlington, and Colin Gerst, Danville; as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
